Work Schedule: This is a part time, 0.5 FTE position. This is a hybrid position with monthly onsite requirements at 7974 UW Health Ct in Madison, WI. Qualified candidates should be able to work 4 hours per day Monday-Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This will be discussed further in the interview. - Process transplant claims, payments, adjustments, refunds, denials, and unpaid insurance balances.
- Follow up with third party payers and patients on outstanding account balances (including credit balances) to facilitate prompt resolution of outstanding account balances.
- Verify patient coverage information and update registration as required.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field Preferred
Work Experience
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or clinic operations role Required
- Epic experience
- Three years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle, specific to area of expertise (I.e. transplant, research, or client billing)
