Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Senior Preconstruction Design Phase Manager (Senior DPM) to join our Solar group with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Aptitude to anticipate problems, critical issues, and opportunities as they arise; along with the capability to creatively solve problems and bring together viable solutions. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are vital, with attention to detail equally important. The Design Phase Manager will ensure the owner's vision is translated into design solutions and construction parameters through leadership of the design process and team members. May work on two projects simultaneously or one larger project. As a Senior DPM, you'll use your utility scale solar experience to actively engage with a variety of stakeholders (EORs, clients, internal team members) to manage the design process. You'll skillfully guide and facilitate conversations ensuring alignment between all parties while connecting the dots across technical and financial domains. You see the bigger picture but can also work through contract details and analyze risk. You're a project manager at heart who wants to get in at the ground level. Location: Any home base location in the continental United States; preference given to those that can work out of our MN- HQ (hybrid) Travel: flexible, varies based on project needs RESPONSIBILITIES

The base pay range for this role is $144,300 - $216,500. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
