Overview

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for an Acquisition Logistics Analyst in support of Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics' (SOF AT&L) Program Executive Office for Tactical Information Systems (PEO-TIS).

PEO-TIS provides SOF with advanced, mission-ready capabilities as technical experts in ISR, tactical communications, and specialized collection and exploitation systems. Across its portfolio, PEO-TIS integrates and fields resilient sensors, biometrics and forensic exploitation tools, remote and space-enabled capabilities, and secure communications that improve situational awareness, targeting, and over-the-horizon connectivity. The organization drives testing, training, and operational assessments to rapidly transition proven technologies into deployable capabilities that support SOF operations in contested environments.

This is a full-time position located at MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), FL.



Responsibilities

    Maintain a broad understanding of the assigned acquisition program; conforming to USSOCOM 70-1, develop acquisition documentation to include CFDR, FDR, MFP, LCSP, ILSP. Develop logistics along with support plans, budget requirements, and deployment timelines for new operations. Develop logistical plans for current operations and logistics contingency plans
  • Develop and execute logistics support policy, processes, and methodologies to the general benefit of all mission units
  • Implements inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved, or transferred
  • Performs inventory activities
  • Assist in developing or tailoring logistics plans, reports, records, information technology documentation, and other acquisition documentation
  • Develops inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved, or transferred
  • Establishes program-level Defense Property Accountability System(s) for incoming property (Line Item Receiving Report), transferred property, and excess property
  • Develops material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage, and disposition of property
  • Acts as the primary POC and facilitator for end-to-end shipment processes
  • Coordinate all aspects of shipments resulting from systems integration and system upgrade activities
  • Coordinate and perform property accountability functions and property management functions in accordance with government guidance and industry best practices
  • Develops logistics strategies, plans, documentation, and reports
  • Develop and implement lifecycle and logistics acquisition product support strategies associated with Armament Systems and associated support equipment
  • Develop data requirements, Requests for Proposal (RFPs), standards, and other logistics portions of contractual documents
  • Perform supportability analyses to include determining manpower requirements, evaluating human/system interfaces, influencing system design to optimize life cycle sustainment strategy, determining supply support, interpreting facility requirements, determining packaging requirements to meet transportation/handling demands, identifying peculiar and common support equipment needs, and evaluating technical data acquisition strategy to support lifecycle sustainment needs
  • Provide support to accomplish the generation and review of logistics support documentation that includes the following: Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Technical Orders (TOs), Country Standard TOs, Technical Manuals (TMs), Electronic Technical Manuals (ETMs), Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPBs), and work specifications to ensure the documentation meets Government logistics support requirements


Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
Certifications: DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency (DAWIA level II equivalent) and in the Logistics career field
Education: Master's degree (technical discipline preferred)
Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years of acquisition logistics experience, including:

  • 3+ years DoD experience in any of the following areas:
    • Military Communications
    • Signals Intelligence
    • Information Technology
    • Sensors
    • ISR Operations
    • Sensitive Site Exploitation
    • Data management
