Central Scheduling/Preregistration - Remote Position after Training Schedule: Full Time Pay Range: $22.00 - $29.57 / Hourly Shift: Day shift Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm About this role Job Summary Reporting to the Manager of Pre-Visit Services, this position facilitates patient access to hospital and clinical systems by providing patient scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification, and collection of payments for services. The role supports patient registration processes and ensures accurate patient and insurance information within hospital systems. Minimum Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Associate degree preferred. Experience Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in patient registration, hospital billing, scheduling, insurance verification, or healthcare access services preferred. Licensure and/or Certification Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred. Skills Knowledge of third-party payors. Knowledge of Medicare billing practices and regulations. Strong customer service skills. Insurance verification experience. Knowledge of insurance billing practices. Computer proficiency. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
