Role Summary

Capitol Bridge Health Services is hiring a Senior Employee Relations & Investigations Specialist [Sr. HR Specialist - Employee Relations] to join our team! This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and support critical employee relations initiatives, conduct investigations, and ensure consistent application of HR policies across the organization. Location:Bogalusa, LA

[This is a Hybrid role w/ required travel to siteperiodically in relation to investigative work and key employee onboarding dates]

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and manage employee relations cases, including conducting thorough and impartial investigations into workplace complaints and policy violations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • Oversee the resolution of complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, leadership, and legal teams to develop and implement strategies that promote a positive workplace environment.
  • Support change management initiatives related to employee relations and organizational restructuring.
  • Provide training and education to managers and employees on employee relations, workplace conduct, and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all investigations and employee relations activities.
  • Facilitate the consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR partners to ensure alignment and consistency in addressing employee relations issues across different sites and departments.
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify trends in employee relations issues and recommend proactive solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong and dedicated emphasis on employee relations and investigations.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound independent judgment, evaluate complex and ambiguous situations, and make well-reasoned recommendations while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Strong experience conducting investigations related to employee conduct, policy violations, and workplace disputes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise investigation summaries.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
