Yourprimary focuswill be on the sourcing and contracting teams, ensuring they have theexpertise, tools, and development opportunities to drive success.
You will be part of the Global Procurement Operations Department, overseeing Sourcing and Contracts. Reporting to the Director of Global Procurement Operations, you will lead efforts to develop talent, strengthen regulatory compliance, partner with Category Management to deliver value for the firm, deliver value to the categories, and drive operational efficiencies through outsourcing, automation, and AI.
To keep the team'sexpertisesharp and continuously evolving, you will actively engage with theProduct Development & Procurement(PDP) practice, drawing insights from industry trends, best practices, and external benchmarks. Collaboration withEthics & Compliance, Legal, Risk, and ESGwill be essential to ensure sourcing practicesremainaligned with evolving regulatory requirements and responsible procurement standards. Additionally, you will partner withTechnology & Digital teamstooptimizesourcing operations and contract management,leveragingautomationand AI to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.
Developing talent is the foundation of this role. You will build deep sourcingexpertise, upskill colleagues, and create a culture of continuous improvement to ensure long-term impact.Strengthening regulatory compliance will be a key priority, embedding strong controls, supplier due diligence, and targeted training to ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulations.Delivering value to the categories will require ensuring that all spend follows a structured sourcing process and that negotiated benefits are fully realized.You willdrive operational efficiencies to focus on simplifying processes, streamlining sourcing and contracting handoffs, andleveragingAI, automation, and outsourcing to improve execution and reduce cycle times.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • A university degree inSTEM, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred
  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years as a Sourcing Director oran equivalentleadership rolewith a proventrack recordin mentoring, upskilling, and fostering a high-performance culture
  • Demonstrated success operating in fast-paced, complex, and evolving business environments, with the ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, make sound decisions under pressure, and consistently deliver results
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, supplier due diligence, and risk management in sourcing
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, market trends, and procurement best practices, with the ability to assess and drive measurable ROI
  • Proven ability to structure complex contracts, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Experience designing and implementing sourcing and contract management processes that optimize execution, integrate automation and AI, and improve procurement operations
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to lead transformation, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in sourcing and contracting

    To help you understand what you can expect, the salary range for new joiners in this role in United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, is $213,000 - $284,000 USD gross per year. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest
    [salary/hourly wages] for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important
    to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current
    organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion
    and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
