Are you passionate about building scalable cloud platforms, automating infrastructure, and driving reliability across mission-critical systems? We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help design, implement, and optimize our cloud-native environment while partnering closely with development, security, and operations teams. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping infrastructure strategy, improving system performance, and delivering secure, highly available solutions that support a fast-growing FinTech organization.

Day in the Life

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll spend your day solving complex technical challenges, improving platform reliability, and building automation that helps teams move faster and more securely. You'll collaborate with developers, security professionals, and infrastructure teams to support cloud platforms, optimize Kubernetes environments, and drive continuous improvement across our DevOps ecosystem.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS

  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery

  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for scalability and high availability

  • Develop and maintain Helm charts for containerized application deployments

  • Manage and support production Kafka environments

  • Partner with development teams to improve application reliability, security, and performance

  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements

  • Monitor system health and performance, identifying opportunities for optimization

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes

  • Lead technical initiatives and recommend platform improvements and architectural enhancements

  • Define and implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs)

  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, performing root cause analysis

  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that improve operational efficiency and platform reliability

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years of experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise IT environments

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route53, KMS, and Secrets Manager

  • Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments

  • Proficiency creating and maintaining Helm charts

  • Experience supporting and administering Kafka clusters

  • Recent experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines in production environments

  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and hybrid cloud architectures

  • Experience working within Agile software development teams

  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation

  • Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • AWS or related cloud certifications are highly desirable

  • Eagerness to continuously learn and expand technical expertise

  • High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership

Annual Salary: $151,038.00 - $234,109.00
