The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and execution of advanced software testing strategies across multiple products and systems. This role requires deep technical expertise to analyze complex code changes, define effective test approaches, and drive automation and quality improvements. The position also contributes to software architecture discussions and ensures testability is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of advanced test strategies, including unit, automation, and white-box testing, to ensure high-quality software delivery across multiple products and platforms
  • Analyze complex code changes and system architectures to define scalable, efficient, and innovative testing approaches
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to improve coverage, efficiency, and reliability
  • Execute end-to-end software quality engineering activities, including analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and validation
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure testability is built into product design and that appropriate instrumentation supports automation and diagnostics
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions, including software architecture and test framework design
  • Conduct code coverage and test coverage analysis, identifying gaps and driving improvements to increase overall quality
  • Develop, execute, and maintain white-box tests to validate internal logic and system behavior
  • Contribute to and review project estimates, providing input on testing scope, effort, and technical complexity
  • Support the resolution of complex defects by leveraging advanced debugging skills and contributing to root cause analysis
  • Participate in software design reviews and provide recommendations to enhance product quality and maintainability
  • Deliver high-quality code, documentation, and test artifacts aligned with engineering standards and best practices
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing test methodologies, tools, and processes

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ yearsof professional experience insoftware/quality engineering, with a strong focus on automation and quality practices
  • 5+ yearsof experience inAPI and web services testing (REST/SOAP)
  • 4+ yearsof hands-on experience withJava (Spring Boot)and building/maintainingtest automation frameworks(e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Serenity)
  • 4+ yearsof experience withSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)for data validation and test execution
  • 3+ yearsof experience acrosssecurity testing, compliance/regulatory requirements, and white-box testing practices
  • 3+ yearsof experience inUI and performance testing, including modern UI frameworks (e.g., Angular) and tools such asJMeter
  • 3+ yearsof experience working withcloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)andCI/CD-integrated testing
  • 2+ yearsof experience usingAI tools (e.g., Copilot)to support test automation or test data generation

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
