As a Security Officer Badge Room Monitor in Longwood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location where you will manage access control, monitor entry points, and support badge and visitor processing. This role combines customer service, communication, and routine presence to help reduce security-related incidents while creating a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and employee credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, unauthorized access attempts, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support traffic flow and visitor management by directing guests, maintaining orderly access at gates and entry points, and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
