Position Summary:

The Stores Process Specialist ensures that remote and selected key stores processes are timely performed, within compliance and accuracy, on a 24x7 coverage basis. This position will also promote continuous improvement across all Stores groups and control the revision of Standard Operation Procedures related to warehouse processes.

Major Job Accountabilities:



  • Ensure that all parts requested by maintenance from Atlas unstaffed stockrooms are properly ISSUED in TRAX prior to delivery to maintenance
  • Assure process ownership across Atlas Global Stores activities
  • Perform the receiving in TRAX of all Emergency Equipment worldwide to Atlas inventory. Ensure that the appropriate labels are placed.
  • Perform the remote receiving in TRAX of all parts in unstaffed locations, assuring proper coordination with local representatives for required inspections.
  • Ensure the accuracy and audit of FSK inventory
  • Assure that all required certification documentation is digitized in AirVault by all Stores locations.
  • Review, update, and maintain the Standard Operation Procedures for Stores processes.
  • Enforce compliance with all applicable regulations and GMM requirements, such as shelf-life control, labeling of parts, hazardous material handling, climate control
  • Develop material packaging standards to prevent errors and damages in transportation; review BFS related to transportation damage
  • Ensure the accuracy of Trax Material Master for specific parameters related to material handling and logistics
  • Spearhead in implementing continuous improvements methodologies across all Stores groups; identify root causes and propose effective corrective actions; evaluate the existing reporting requirements and KPIs related to receiving, storing, and shipping materials.
  • Ensure safe work environment and compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in quality, safety, IT, logistics, and dangerous goods to ensure systems are compliant and optimized and meet the needs of the business
  • Champion the adoption of environmentally friendly solutions
  • Stay engaged with all Atlas warehouses to disseminate improvements and standards
  • Act as a source of knowledge in areas of supply chain best practices and methodologies. Provide training as necessary to develop the workforce on the use of warehouse management systems and lean activities


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Aviation Management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in aviation stores, inventory control, or materials handling preferred.
  • Availability to work in shifts to provide 24 x 7 coverage
  • Proven experience as a supply chain analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a warehousing or distribution environment. Knowledge of supply chain concepts, including inventory management, demand planning, and logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, preferably TRAX
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft parts and quality requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of supply chain concepts, including inventory management, demand planning, and logistics.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Works under limited supervision to complete tasks in an efficient timeframe with high quality.

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors. In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.
