As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support access control operations, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor and vehicle traffic. In this role, you will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and/or driver check-in, and document deliveries, pickups, and other authorized access activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including gates, trailer yards, parking areas, loading and unloading zones, and perimeter areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, support order at busy access points, and report suspicious, unusual, and/or security-related activity involving people, vehicles, packages, or property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
