As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Columbia, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, stock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report policy violations, theft-related concerns, hazards, and/or unusual conditions according to site protocols.
• Support retail location operations by providing directions, assisting with crowd flow during busy periods, and communicating clearly with store personnel regarding security-related issues and response needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
