Responsibilities

Platform Strategy

  • Develop portfolio strategy by synthesizing competitive intelligence, whitespace opportunities, consumer insights, and market trends; recommend actions to senior leadership.
  • Lead execution of platform strategy across Core, High Protein, and Zero Sugar, translating priorities into plans, briefs, timelines, and cross-functional deliverables.
  • Manage product lifecycle milestones from development through discontinuation, proactively identifying risks and dependencies.

Innovation & Product Development

  • Drive strategic execution of innovation projects from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with platform objectives.
  • Provide strategic direction for R&D briefs, incorporating business rationale, competitive context, and consumer insights.

Channel Strategy & Go-to-Market

  • Partner with business unit leaders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Coordinate product launches across Creative, Shopper Marketing, Commercial, and other stakeholders to ensure flawless execution.
  • Align positioning, packaging, pricing, promotion, and launch readiness, escalating gaps when needed.
  • Own platform toolkits, messaging frameworks, claims, and brand asset guidelines; maintain evergreen assets and oversee photoshoot planning and execution.

Performance Management & Analytics

  • Enhance KPI tracking and portfolio performance measurement.
  • Guide analytical reporting toward actionable insights, ensuring focus on the most relevant business questions and performance drivers.
  • Translate performance data into strategic recommendations that inform portfolio decisions, innovation, and activation priorities.
  • Prepare senior leadership business reviews and coach junior team members on analytics, prioritization, and insight generation.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Represent the Platform Growth team across key forums, coordinating with Product Development, R&D, Creative, Shopper Marketing, and Commercial to drive execution.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to improve alignment, communication, and decision-making.

Sales Enablement

  • Develop consumer, product, and competitive insights that support sales tools, training materials, and product education.
  • Partner with Commercialization to identify channel-specific growth opportunities and inform product strategy.

Consumer & Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitors, consumer trends, and category dynamics, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with Consumer Insights to deepen understanding of target audiences, motivations, drivers, and barriers.
  • Collaborate with Loyalty and social listening teams to uncover drivers of brand fandom and identify opportunities to strengthen consumer engagement and roadmap development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in product strategy, brand management, or product management
  • 4+ years of experience in CPG
  • Deep understanding of coffee or beverage categories, including product development and consumer behavior
  • Proven track record of successfully leading product portfolios and driving measurable business results
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience using data to drive strategic decisions
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to lead multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority

The salary range for this full-time position is $121,000.00 - $190,300.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
