Security Officer Surveillance Patrol

As a Security Officer Surveillance Patrol in CONCORD, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, agile, and reliable approach, working as part of a team that values innovation and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and communicate with staff, visitors, and/or public personnel regarding security-related matters.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of current post instructions, and assisting with routine security-related operations as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
