As a Security Officer Access Specialist in Sanford, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy auto auction location, where you will monitor entry and exit activity, verify badges and credentials, and support smooth site operations through professional communication and customer service. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor gates, entrances, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity according to site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including vehicle areas, lot perimeters, and operational spaces, while observing for security-related concerns and policy violations.
• Complete required reports and logs related to access activity, incidents, and daily operations, and assist with directions and general information in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
