**What You'll Do**

* Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time escalations related to perception system issues within the fleet.

* Conduct in-depth root cause analysis through comprehensive log review to swiftly identify and resolve fleet issues.

* Develop, update, and maintain a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for technicians, continuously incorporating newly diagnosed faults and their resolutions.

* Perform hardware bring-up and validation procedures for new perception system components (e.g., advanced sensors, cameras).

* Design and implement diagnostic procedures to streamline future troubleshooting processes, with a particular focus on sensor calibration and data integrity.

* Conduct historical review of vehicle and fleet data, including sensor data, to identify trends and recurring issues.

* Collaborate closely with engineering design teams to enhance tooling and improve issue detection capabilities across the fleet.

* Develop and implement effective countermeasures across the fleet to prevent recurring issues and bolster system robustness.

* Define and capture essential data points to validate issue resolution and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

* Engage in cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement in vehicle performance and reliability.

* Be available for overtime as needed, with advanced notice provided.

* Be willing to travel occasionally within the U.S. to support various operational locations.

*What You'll Bring**

**Required Qualifications:**

* Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicle sectors, with a specific focus on perception systems and sensors.

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

* Experience with low/high voltage circuits, Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS), and how to safely troubleshoot these systems.

* Strong understanding of hardware and software systems architecture and communications to support operations.

* Embraces a holistic problem-solving approach, identifying issues with high-level vehicle functions and driving specific resolutions into single components.

* A self-starter with the ability to build strong relationships across the company.

* Ability to comprehend schematics, electrical diagrams, connector end views, and pinouts.

* Ability to pass a background check.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience with electric vehicle technology.

* Experience with remotely supporting vehicle troubleshooting.

* Knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics tools.

* Experience with Linux & Python-based programming systems for fleet-level data processing.

* Experience with software that interfaces with hardware.

* Familiarity with networking, TCP, and socket programming.
