Job Posting Title Metallurgical Engineering LeadJob Description Summary Dauch is hiring a Metallurgical Engineering Lead to support technical metallurgical and heat treat leadership teams, leading complex investigations and audits, and driving standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives at our Fort Wayne facility.In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, mentoring metallurgists and engineers while partnering with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, suppliers, and customers to ensure robust, capable, and compliant material processes. These processes include carburizing gas heat treatment, surface enhancement (ie. shot peening), chemical processes (washers, coatings, paint), and non-destructive testing. The Metallurgical Engineering Lead is also responsible for developing process parameters and overseeing the operation of all processes that effect the metallurgical properties and metallurgical inspection of components and assemblies.
