What to Expect Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start August or September 2026 and continue through fall term (ending approximately December 2026 or later, if available). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program.Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships. International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year. About the Team: Security Intelligence Analysts are responsible for the protection of Tesla's intellectual property, reputation, trade secrets, and confidential information. This role will support proactive and reactive risk management projects, conduct limited technical signal review, and actively address internal and external threats to Tesla's intellectual property. What You'll Do IP Protection - Support programs designed to reduce IP loss risk to Tesla crown jewel programs Training and Awareness - Support ongoing training and awareness efforts, emphasizing information security/IP protection be.st practices Enhanced background reviews - Support review of candidates for high-impact roles across the company Support sensitive, complex, and confidential investigations into incidents of data loss and intellectual property theft, technology misuse, and conflict of interest Solve complex problems with data from multiple sources and make recommendations toleadership on theappropriate strategy Comprehensive OSINT research- collect,analyzeanddisseminateOSINT data from a variety of sources.Identifypotential security threats or trends to Tesla personnel and facilities What You'll Bring Final year student working towards a degree ininternational relations,political science, or humanities related studies (this is a non-technical role) Able to work on site inAustin,TXor Palo Alto, CA Proficiency in open-source research Comfort with ambiguity; the ability to change focus quickly due to shifting corporate priorities Ability to balance both school and internship Demonstrate strong ability to embrace and adapt to change, take initiative and showcase curiosity, learn quickly in a fast-paced environment Self-starter who is results oriented, resourceful, analytical, innovative, intellectually curious and who take initiative and risks Strong communicator, both written and verbal The highest level of integrity and honesty and the ability to protect sensitive confidential information Compensation and Benefits Benefits As a full-time Tesla Intern, you will be eligible for: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans.
