Description

Leidos is seeking an experienced and detail-orientedTask Order Manager to support the Parts and Repair Ordering System (PROS7) program. PROS 7 is a single-award IDIQ with a $4.3B ceiling providing acquisition support for non-standard items and complex repairs and serves as a contracting vehicle for specialized technical services in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers across the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Army. This position will manage task orders on the PROS7 IDIQ contract and work directly under theProgram Manager and Deputy Program Manager.

The Task Order Manager will ensure that requirements and milestones are met, develop budgets and schedules, and monitor performance to achieve contractual, cost, and schedule objectives. This role requires expert knowledge of project planning techniques, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex processes spanning multiple professional areas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in task order management, experience in government contracting, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.

There is a strong preference for candidates located near Beavercreek, OH who can work in a hybrid environment. Remote candidates will also be considered if they are able to travel as needed to support the team.

Please note: This role is contingent upon contract award, expected in late May or early June.

Key Responsibilities

  • Task Order Management: Oversee the execution of task orders on the PROS7 IDIQ contract, ensuring all requirements, milestones, and deliverables are met.
  • Project Planning: Develop budgets, schedules, and project plans to meet contractual and program requirements. Provide visibility into task order performance and delivery timelines.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and define program plan requirements, delivery timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Monitor and report on task order performance to ensure alignment with contractual, cost, and schedule objectives.
  • Problem Resolution: Address complex problems involving multiple issues, areas, or specialties. Develop innovative solutions to improve task order processes and enhance results.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal team members across multiple areas, client team members, subcontractors, and vendors. Influence project and team leaders regarding solution design, processes, and approaches.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals to ensure consistent quality and adherence to program objectives.
  • Compliance: Ensure all task orders meet industry standards, program requirements, and regulatory guidelines, including ITAR, FAR, and DFARS.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and organized records of all task orders, including submission timelines, approvals, and revisions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ or 8+years of prior relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2+ or 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Currently possess or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Proven track record in managing task orders for government contracts.
  • Experience in project planning, performance monitoring, and reporting.
  • Expert knowledge of advanced principles and concepts within task order management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Familiarity with government contracting processes and regulations (e.g., ITAR, FAR, DFARS).
  • Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and aircraft programs or similar initiatives.
  • Knowledge of best practices in task order management and project planning.
  • Background in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or subcontracts.
