Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. The Research Administrator (RA) in the Stem Cell and Gene Therapy Program of the Translational Science and Therapeutics Division will work under the direction of the Program Research Administration Manager and Program Director. Investigators within the Stem Cell and Gene Therapy Program conduct preclinical and clinical research on blood stem cell biology and transplantation and gene therapy and genome editing. Responsibilities of the Research Administrator will include management and oversight for program finance and administration, grants and contracts, and regulatory compliance, as well as compliance with Center policies and procedures. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills, an interest in continuous learning, ability to analyze and communicate complex regulatory guidelines, and a desire to work in a supportive and collegial community. The individual will report to the Research Administration Manager. This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely. Responsibilities Budget/Fiscal Support:
Develop, monitor, track, and forecast the budgets for a complex portfolio of projects with multi-variable aspects (multi-site, sub awards etc.).

This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely. Research Administrator III: The annual base salary range for this position is from $84,490 to $126,714, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. Research Administrator IV: The annual base salary range for this position is from $93,163 to $139,714, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time, candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
