We are currently looking for aSenior Design Technology Program Specialist to join our team in Holland, MI.
As Senior Design Technology Program Specialist you will:
Serve as a critical connector between strategy and execution-turning vision into welldelivered, scalable designtechnology solutions for our architectural products. The team needs someone who can confidently manage complexity, align crossfunctional partners, and still ensure every detail is delivered with precision. You will plan and execute moderately complex programs, balancing resources, budgets, risks, and timelines while keeping work moving forward. By applying strong project leadership and designtechnology expertise, you'll solve challenges, elevate digital workflows, mentor others, and help the organization execute with both clarity and confidence.
Essential Functions
- Lead the planning and execution of complex projects and programs from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Develop, manage, and maintain project and program plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and delivery effectiveness
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project and program risks, escalating issues as needed and recommending mitigation strategies
- Serve as a project and program management subjectmatter expert, providing guidance, structure, and support to team members and stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal and external crossfunctional teams and leaders to align priorities and drive successful outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project and program management processes, tools, and practices
- Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to strengthen program execution and maintain a competitive advantage
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design Technology, Architecture, UX/UI, Industrial Design, or similar
- 5+ years of experience in commercial interiors, architectural products, design technology, or UX/UI design, with a strong focus on design tools and workflows
- Advanced proficiency in Canvas, the primary Haworth dealer design tool used to scale, configure, and communicate product layouts / specifications to customers, or other related specification platforms, like CAP/GIZA, etc.
- Demonstrated experience enabling and training others on design tools, systems, and processes
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate architectural and product complexity into clear, usable digital designs
- Proven ability to collaborate across technical, design, and business stakeholders
- Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education

Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in design technology supporting architectural products and commercial interiors
- Deep expertise in digital design tools, with Canvas/CET as the primary UX/UI platform, integrated with designer, pricing, and specification tools
- Proven UX/UI leadership delivering consistent, scalable design experiences across digital product programs
- Strong architectural knowledge, including wall systems, assemblies, and configurable architectural products
- Demonstrated experience with parametric and characteristicbased modeling to support pricing and digital specifying
- Experience collaborating with product developers and dealer partners, acting as a liaison between technical teams and market needs
- Strong program coordination skills, balancing strategic vision with precise execution and attention to detail
