HealthPartners is hiring an HR Operations Project Process Analyst. This position is responsible for the support and development of projects and processes within HR Operations, specifically supporting the HR Service Center and HR Compliance Center of Excellence. This position assists leadership in planning, organizing, and executing projects effectively. It supports process standardization within a shared services model, including documentation, continuous improvement, and efficiency initiatives. The role also facilitates communication across HR Operations and escalates issues or discrepancies to leadership and key stakeholders.

This is a hybrid role, with onsite presence required Tuesday through Thursday, working between our Bloomington and St. Louis Park locations. Schedule and onsite days may be subject to change based on business and team needs.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining centralized knowledge management tools (e.g., SharePoint or similar platforms) to house HR Operations information, communications, and updates for stakeholders including HR Service Center, Compliance, HR Technology, IT, Payroll, and HR colleagues.
  • Supports development and maintenance of employee-facing knowledge resources (e.g., HR portal or intranet tools) to provide guidance, education, and self-service support for HR-related topics.
  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and reference materials to ensure consistency and accuracy across HR Service Center and Compliance functions.
  • Partners with HR Operations leadership to support process alignment, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across service delivery teams.
  • Supports compliance-related processes by partnering with the HR Compliance Center of Excellence to ensure processes align with federal, state, and local regulations, and assists with documentation and audit readiness efforts.
  • Participates in the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing support of vendors, tools, and systems that impact HR Service Center and Compliance operations.
  • Supports tracking and resolution of HR inquiries and issues, including triaging tickets from case management systems (e.g., ServiceNow), identifying trends, and recommending process improvements.
  • Facilitates meetings, documents discussions, tracks action items, and ensures follow-up on deliverables and deadlines across HR Operations projects.
  • Provides project coordination and oversight for key HR Operations initiatives, including documentation of timelines, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with HR teams and business partners to ensure effective communication and alignment on processes and initiatives.
  • Identifies opportunities for process optimization, automation, and improved service delivery within the HR Service Center and Compliance functions.
  • Supports training and knowledge transfer for HR Operations team members on new or updated processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 1 year of experience in HR operations, shared services, compliance, or process/project support or 3+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, compliance, or process/project support

  • General knowledge of HR processes and applicable federal and state employment regulations

  • Demonstrated success with process improvement or process reengineering initiatives

  • Experience supporting projects, including meeting facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder communication

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively as a team member in a collaborative environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in an HR Service Center or shared services environment
  • Experience supporting HR compliance, audits, or regulatory processes
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis, reporting automation)
  • Experience in a unionized environment
  • Prior experience with HR systems (e.g., Oracle or similar platforms)
  • Relevant HR or project management certifications
