DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position oversees the full range of treatment and therapeutic services for the Sexual Responsibility and Treatment Program. It ensures all clinical activities follow current policies, procedures, and standards. As a Licensed Psychologist Director, you will perform the following duties:
- Program Leadership: Plan, guide, and evaluate treatment program components for Act 21 clients in residential care
- Clinical Consistency: Ensure treatment approaches follow secure civil commitment standards and current methodologies
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain alignment with all applicable rules, codes, and program procedures
- Staff Oversight: Supervise, assign, and monitor clinical staff while supporting training and credentialing needs
- Treatment Delivery: Provide individual, group, and psycho-educational treatment services to clients
- Operational Coordination: Coordinate daily operations and collaborate with facility staff on mental health and sexual offending topics

- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Licensed Psychologist Manager (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years as a Licensed Psychologist, MH or a Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) one year of which must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity; or
- Two years of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness and/or intellectual disability, one year of which must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of a current license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of psychology or possession of a current license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. [Pennsylvania licensure must be obtained within one year of employment]
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
