The Application Developer II is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining application solutions that support business operations. This role operates with moderate supervision and is expected to complete technical tasks independently while collaborating effectively with IT analysts and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and support application solutions aligned to business needs
  • Work independently, with minimal direction, to complete assigned technical tasks
  • Collaborate with IT analysts and business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to development standards
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant application development experience
    • OR 1+ year of experience in an Application Developer I role
  • Hands-on experience with one or more relevant platforms/technologies such as:
    • Microsoft development tools
    • .NET frameworks
    • SAP ABAP
    • Or other comparable technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to complete technical tasks independently
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
    • Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience working in a collaborative IT/business environment
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems and application lifecycle management

Work Environment & Expectations

  • Operates under moderate supervision
  • Expected to manage individual workload and priorities effectively
  • Represents IT professionally when working with internal stakeholders
