Summary

Performs all functions associated with Goodwill Keystone Area participation on auction sites to meet sales expectations and goal through sorting jewelry for precious metals and gemstones along with posting high quality items.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sort and test Jewelry Donations for precious metals and gemstones.
• Assists with functions associated with receiving items to include but not limited to: maintains area for receipts of items; evaluates each item to maintain highest quality standards; post items; assists in developing description for each item; photographs items on a continual basis; stores and inventories each item.
• Work with our operating system to accept inventory/manifests and research product as needed.
• Performs all duties as assigned by Ecommerce Manager.
• Represents Goodwill Keystone Area in a positive and professional manner along with good internal and external customer service and communication skills.
• Meet and exceed Ecommerce revenue by meeting posting goals daily.
• Handle and reply to all customer emails in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area as well as all areas inside Ecommerce and surrounding areas.
• Promotes an environment of workplace safety. Assures that duties are performed in a safe manner and safety requirements are adhered to.
• Communicates progress, problems, and concerns to the Ecommerce Production Manager.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience of one (1) year retail; thrift store/consignment preferred.

Skills/Abilities/Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of digital photography.
• Basic knowledge of gemstones/precious metals preferred.
• Must have strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proven experience/knowledge of current resale markets, online and thrift preferred.
• Must have excellent communication skills and able to train/teach others.
• Must have good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30lbs on occasion.
• Able to stand for long periods of time with occasional bending, pushing and reaching.
