ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Support the development and execution of the SAE Standards Committee Leadership Workshop
• Help identify relevant standards for the Aero Design competition
• Working with the AI and data teams, identify whether historical committee meeting attendance records can be captured using AI and merged with the new data
• Assist in the project to collate SAE standards references in regulation

• Other activities as directed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Software) or a related field
• Interest in how industry consensus shapes the aerospace industry
• Ability to work in a team

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Hybrid work environment with a mix of office-based and virtual work and meetings
• Frequent computer use, including extended periods of typing, video conferencing, and screen time
• Regular participation in meetings and collaborative working sessions, both in person and virtual
• Occasional travel may be required to support events or attend internal/offsite meetings
• During events, may be required to stand or walk for extended periods and move light materials (up to 25 lbs), such as signage or event supplies
• Use of standard office equipment including laptop, monitors, and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel)
