THE ROLE:

AMD is seeking a motivated, collaborative Senior Program Manager - Analog/Mixed Signal Designto support complex hardware programs in a highly technical, engineeringdriven environment. In this role, you will work closely with IP design managers, technical leads, and crossfunctional engineering teams to support the delivery of critical analog and mixedsignal IP. You'll operate at the intersection of engineering and execution, helping teams stay aligned as they navigate technical complexity and competing priorities. This role offers high visibility, meaningful technical exposure, and the opportunity to make an impact while leading through partnership rather than direct authority

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate is a confident, collaborative program leader who communicates clearly, builds trust with engineers, and drives alignment across highly technical teams while managing complex, fastpaced initiatives and competing priorities. This individual brings strong judgment, listens deeply, and earns credibility through thoughtful engagement with design and engineering partners. They lead through influence, clarity, and respect for the engineering process rather than directive authority.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the program management partner for complex analog and mixedsignal IP initiatives, bringing structure, alignment, and execution discipline to highly technical engineering efforts
  • Establish clear, integrated program plans that enable teams to move from concept through delivery with predictable outcomes
  • Work closely with IP design managers and technical leads to align priorities, manage dependencies, and support effective decisionmaking across circuit design, RTL, physical design, and verification teams
  • Build and maintain program visibility through welldefined milestones, execution metrics, and clear communication with engineering and business stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and address risks, resource constraints, and crossteam dependencies to minimize disruption and rework
  • Enable continuous improvement in how complex IP programs are planned and executed, contributing to greater consistency, scalability, and delivery confidence over time

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working within analog or mixedsignal IP design environments, with direct exposure to how complex hardware IP is developed and delivered
  • Prior background as an IP design manager, technical lead, or senior engineer with ownership of crossfunctional analog or mixedsignal deliverables
  • Demonstrated understanding of crossdomain dependencies across circuit design, RTL, physical design, and design verification
  • Handson experience partnering closely with engineering teams to manage schedule alignment, technical tradeoffs, and execution risk
  • Familiarity with program and project execution in distributed, multisite engineering organizations
  • Proven ability to translate technical discussions into clear plans, action items, and stakeholder communication
  • Experience using program management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Excel
  • Exposure to Agile, hybrid, or iterative development methodologies in a hardware or hardwaresoftware integrated environment

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Formal Project Management education, PMP certified
