The Wentworth Douglass Hospital (WDH) Digital Intern will have the opportunity to participate and lead an inventory reconciliation for hardware as well as be part of our Voalte device replacement project. Both involve meticulous documentation, coordination and working with end users during clinical business hours. Education High school diploma or equivalent required Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program required; relevant field highly preferred Skills for Success: Exceptional time management, prioritization and organization abilities Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously to take initiative and common goals Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and pivot within scope for business needs As a Mass General Brigham Digital Intern, you will have the opportunity to: Contribute to the Organization: Support Digital projects: Interns will assist in ongoing projects, providing valuable help to Digital staff while learning in the process. Bring innovative ideas and new perspectives to the table. Gain Real-World Experience & Professional Development: Hands-On Learning: Gain practical exposure to meaningful work, applying classroom knowledge to real-world situations. Skills Acquisition: Develop industry-specific and transferable skills such as project management, communication, and problem-solving. Career Exploration: Ability to assess whether a particular field or position aligns with your long-term career aspirations. Organizational Insight: Provide a deeper understanding of MGB culture, including its trends, challenges, and opportunities. Several events will be held over the 10 weeks to provide an opportunity to learn about MGB and become familiar with company culture. Events include: Digital Orientation & Welcome Weekly virtual coffee & conversation Hospital tours Digital Town Hall at Assembly Row Career seminar with MGB department leaders Marlborough Data Center Tour Final "Graduation" Day! Additionally, interns will participate in job shadows and group project assignments to support MGB Digital initiatives!
