Security Officer - Active Clearance Required

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol Driver in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity, suspicious conditions, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials in accordance with site policies, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership with incident reporting, shift pass-down communication, and other assigned security-related duties based on location needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
