Clinical Coordinator


Salary Range: $78,00 - $86,000


Position Summary


The Clinical Coordinator is a senior member of the treatment team who provides individual, family, group, and milieu therapy to a small caseload of youth. In addition, the Clinical Coordinator collaborates with Program Directors to oversee unit operations and provides day-to-day clinical supervision and support to clinicians. This role is responsible for conducting assessments, coordinating case management for assigned youth, and serving as a primary liaison with referral sources to represent the agency.

Reports to: Clinical Director


Essential Functions


  • Supervise 3 clinicians at OCR with support from the Clinical Director.
  • Provide clinical oversight for OCC and Johnston Hall services.
  • Participate in admission meetings and support referral decisions.
  • Maintain a reduced clinical caseload and provide therapy and case management as assigned.
  • Support youth coverage when primary clinicians are unavailable.
  • Develop, present, and oversee individualized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate treatment team meetings (intake through discharge and quarterly reviews).
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation per agency, DESE, and DEEC standards; ensure timely paperwork and JCATS data entry.
  • Review/edit clinical documentation and provide feedback to staff.
  • Ensure clinicians complete required trainings and participate in professional development efforts.
  • Coordinate and facilitate individual, dyad, and group treatment interventions as indicated.
  • Implement Trauma-Informed Care and ARC treatment models.
  • Provide crisis intervention, including verbal and physical de-escalation per CPI and agency policy.
  • Participate actively in residential milieu and school programming.
  • Collaborate with Training and PD leadership on milieu training initiatives.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with all safety, security, and agency policies and procedures.
  • Provide transportation for students and families as needed.
  • Attend and represent the program at internal and external meetings (clinical, staff, DCF, school, psychiatric, etc.).
  • Maintain flexible scheduling to meet student and family needs.
  • Serve on the leadership on-call team per agency procedures.
  • Support policy and procedure development and assist with annual program review.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to staff regarding safety and policy compliance.
  • Complete required trainings and certifications.
  • Assume additional duties as directed by the Clinical Director.


Work Experience


  • Clinical experience providing treatment to children and adolescents
  • Residential treatment experience preferred


Education & Certification Requirements


  • Master's degree (MSW, MA, MS, or M.Ed.)
  • LICSW or LMHC eligible
  • Valid driver's license
