This unit in the coming academic year will be rebranded as the School of Professional and Technical Education (SPTE). This position is a full-time, academic-year (9-month), non-tenure-track term lecturer position in the Nursing Assistant program to support the health professions of rural Utah. The appointment is 95% teaching and 5% service. It is anticipated that the individual selected for this faculty position will start in August of 2026. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction. As part of USU's land-grant mission to make academic programs accessible throughout the state, this position will be based at the USU Moab campus in Moab, Utah. The successful candidate will support high-quality nurse assisting education by preparing students for entry-level nurse assisting through competency-based instruction aligned with Utah Nursing Assistant Registry (UNAR) standards, state and federal regulations, and program outcomes. Instruction is delivered according to program schedules, and enrollment is maintained in compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies.
