| Position Summary |
This is a professional administrative position providing support to the instruction, research, and professional development initiatives for several members of the Law School Faculty. Position duties can include assisting with class attendance records, organizing, preparing, distributing, and collecting class materials, as well as travel arrangements (to include travel authorizations and expense statements). Other duties may include preparing, obtaining, and organizing reports and files supporting faculty research and service responsibilities. |

Instructional Support:
- Assists faculty (and visitors of faculty) with travel authorizations, arrangements, and expense reimbursements.
- Work with IT to ensure that both office equipment and equipment belonging to faculty are operational.
- Maintain calendar/schedule for faculty as needed.
- Assists other faculty and administrative staff.
- Greets individuals calling in person or by telephone; provides information; takes and delivers messages; maintains appointment schedules; and makes travel arrangements.
- Maintains and anticipates the need for appropriate office supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.

General Support
- Provides instructional support by assisting with preparing, distributing, collecting, and organizing class materials and syllabi, posting information and announcements to the eLc site, and ordering course books or textbooks.
- May prepare seating charts, attendance records, distribute/collect exams or other graded materials, and entry and verification of grade calculations.
- Facilitate letters of recommendation by faculty.
- Coordinate and assist with take-home exams.

Research Support
- Transcribes, types, prints, proofreads, formats, and corrects drafts and final versions of manuscripts, reports, documents, correspondence, scholarly articles, and mailing lists for assigned faculty.
- Supports research and service responsibilities of assigned faculty by obtaining and organizing information, preparing reports, and maintaining files.
- Creates and maintains appropriate files; processes paperwork for clerkships.

- Provides support for events hosted by the School of Law by assisting with setup, being active and available during events, and cleaning up.
- Coordinate room reservations, catering, parking, announcements, and IT services for events.
