Job Description:

This position is onsite/in-person at the CDPHP Corporate Woods office (11 Corporate Woods, Albany, NY 1221)

Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday - 7:30AM - 4PM

Summary:

The Mailing and Warehouse Associate, Mailing & Receiving Services will be responsible for all loading dock operations and the completion of the necessary activities related to the processing of incoming and outgoing mail for the entire organization. This includes loading and unloading trucks, preparing outgoing materials and maintaining a safe, clean environment. The candidate will also serve as a backup to all mailroom services. The Mailing and Warehouse Associate, Mailing & Receiving Services is responsible to ensure compliance with all CDPHP's departmental objectives, including state & federally mandated processing timelines. Additionally, compliance with federal postal regulations is required.

Essential Accountabilities:

    • Accurate & timely processing of company-wide correspondence to support & ensure departmental objectives including state and federally mandated handling guidelines.
    • Compliance with Postal Regulations.
    • Retrieve mail from the post office on a daily basis at designated times to support timely handling.
    • Responsible for maintaining delivery van vehicle cleanliness and reporting of any mechanical issues to the Manager.
    • Provide messenger service as required.
    • Receive and process all incoming materials, supplies etc. and distribute to appropriate recipient in a timely manner.
    • Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence to both internal and external customers within the department. Assemble and distribute information, accordingly, including but not limited to, warehouse inventory, destruction order requests, job processing requests, etc.
    • Process any outgoing materials, supplies as required.
    • Supervise loading dock operations.
    • Facilitate receiving and unloading of goods in the warehouse, including unloading trucks to checking pallets and attaching identifying tags to label containers.
    • docValidate inventory by comparing computations to physical counts of stock and investigate any discrepancies.
    • Prepare and pack all outgoing materials and equipment.
    • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas to comply with safety regulations.
    • Provide back-up support to mailroom, as needed. Duties include opening, scanning and distributing all incoming mail and packages to appropriate department via tracking software.
    • The employee agrees to comply with CDPHP's Corporate Compliance Policy, and all laws, rules, regulations and standards of conduct relating to the Corporate Compliance Policy and has a duty and obligation to report any suspected violations of any law, the standards of conduct or Corporate Compliance Policy to his or her immediate Supervisor, the fraud and abuse hotline, the Compliance Officer, the Compliance Director, Human Capital Management or the Chief Executive Officer.
    • Performs all Mailroom functions.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • High school diploma or GED preferred.
    • Previous shipping/receiving experience is preferred.
    • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
    • Demonstrate a high level of technical competence/knowledge of PC and Windows is required. In depth knowledge of excel experience is preferred.
    • Demonstrated working knowledge of Pitney Bowes software and equipment.
    • Valid New York State driver's license, current registration and adequate automobile insurance are required.
    • Demonstrated ability to lift 70 or more pounds is required.
    • Knowledge of Capital District area is preferred.

Compensation Range(s):

Minimum: $20/hr - Maximum: $26.90/hr

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's minimum qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
