Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals and related mobile applications that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers.
Position Summary: TheManager , Strategic Accounts is responsible for architecting the strategy for marketing and selling Medscape Medical Affairs' unique suite of digital medical affairs solutions to US teams within the Life Sciences industry. The Manager will have focus on the strategic acquisition and expansion of high-value enterprise accounts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales , nurturing professional growth within the sales organization while ensuring exceptional delivery of solutions to global partners.
Requirements:
  • 3-7+ years of experience in selling into Pharma environments, with a focus on selling to and partnering with medical affairs in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device companies.
  • Bachelor's Degree required (specific degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences preferred); or at least 4 years of additional specialized experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of influencing senior management decisions and successfully interacting with C-suite leadership at prospect organizations.
  • Fluency with the world of industry medical affairs, including clinical development timelines, KOL/TL development, and commercialization collaborations.
  • Ability to negotiate with organizational leadership to accomplish broad business objectives and find solutions the majority will accept.
  • Proven ability to manage technological and financial resources at the business segment level.
  • A passion for digital innovation and the ability to anticipate marketplace requirements to improve product offerings.
  • Technical proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000. Plus Commission.
