POSITION SUMMARY:

With direct supervision, is responsible for work assignments on temporary full-time employment basis while enrolled in a university electrical engineering degree program. Assignments are intended to provide entry-level experience and training related to the degree discipline and in Parker business structure, operational functions, customers, and products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acquire knowledge of various department operations, functions, responsibilities and workflow.
  • Complete well-defined work assignments and actively participate in hands-on projects and/or special assignments. Learn and become proficient at systems and procedures applicable to work assignments and functional area.
  • Maintain communication with team leader to include feedback on assignments, scheduling, and program improvements. Immediate work mentorship may be assigned to an experienced

  • team member.

  • Perform other related responsibilities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Rising Junior or Senior class status; Enrolled in university coursework toward a college degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrated proficiency electronics laboratory equipment; working knowledge of Altium PCB; working knowledge of digital circuit design; fundamental LabVIEW programming skills; fundamental Semiconduction Devices/Power electronics knowledge; working knowledge of MATLAB or Simulink.

  • Ability to work effectively in a variety of administrative, technical and manufacturing assignments.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all contacts.

  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

  • Pay Range: $20.52/hr to $34.2/hr
