We are seeking a detailoriented *HIM Analyst* to support clinical documentation compliance, auditing, and health information integrity across enterprise systems. This fully remote role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, data accuracy, and secure handling of patient information while collaborating with hospital and IS partners. Job Summary The HIM Analyst is responsible for auditing, monitoring, and reporting on clinical documentation performance and compliance with standards established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), The Joint Commission (JC), and the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH). This role supports Epic and ChartMaxx documentation workflows, Release to Inspector functionality, transcription interfaces, and information security compliance across multiple systems. Key Responsibilities * Perform retrospective chart reviews to ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards * Audit Epic and ChartMaxx scanned images, transcribed reports, and scan links to ensure accuracy and data integrity * Partner with hospital record custodians to support Epic Release to Inspector functionality for approved users * Monitor failed fax distributions of discharge summaries and coordinate notifications and resolution * Manage and support the HIM ServiceNow work queue, including ChartMaxx account creation and Epic scan deletions * Address and resolve ChartMaxx integration issues such as name changes, aliases, and patient merges * Monitor Fair Warning activity and notify end users when accounts are flagged * Collaborate with IS support teams to resolve software, system, and integration issues * Ensure patient identifiers remain consistent across Epic, ChartMaxx, and M*Modal transcription systems * Maintain compliance with all enterprise information security policies and healthcare privacy regulations * Support compliance activities related to state, federal, and accreditation requirements * Perform additional duties related to paper chart management and lifecycle as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications * Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment * Demonstrated problemsolving, analytical thinking, and customer service skills * Detailoriented with strong critical thinking and qualityfocused mindset * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Strong personal organization and time management abilities * Ability to make sound decisions without direct supervision * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications * Ability and willingness to learn Epic, ChartMaxx, and MedQuist systems * Proven ability to work productively with hospital staff at all levels Work Environment * *100% remote* * *EST business hours* * Collaborative, compliancedriven healthcare environment *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
