ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Aviation * Supervise a team of aircraft-related personnel. * Work under general direction from the manager but define your own objectives, identify skill needs, and work with subordinates to increase competencies. * Review, complete, and file daily production records and data. * Provide in-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and serve as a resource for others. * Delegates tasks within the work unit. * Assist manager in assessing workflow impacts and develop plans accordingly * Submit any changes in shift schedules or manpower needs to the manager. * Provide information to technicians for daily operations, procedure updates, and safety regulations. * Assist with production and material planning. * Work with Production Control to coordinate delivery and reception of parts and equipment. * Responsible for issuing incident, safety, or other reports. * Ensure compliance with company standards for tool control, waste reduction, quality, OSHA, safety, and complete and on-time delivery. * Promote a positive tone and high standards for customer service. * Promotes safety First workplace * Must be flexible (shift changes, TDY, etc.) * Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position will assist the maintenance supervisor with directing performances, performance reviews, and performance corrections. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks. QUALIFICATIONS: Aviation * Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years' experience in aviation maintenance and in accordance with military standards and specifications and the ULLS-A notebook. * Previous supervisory experience preferred. * An A&P/FCC certificate is preferred. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance WORKING ENVIRONMENT: A fast paced multi-tasking customer service oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance.
