ABOUT THE ROLE
The Quickbase Solutions Architect will serve as the corporate technical leader of the Quickbase platform across the organization. This role is responsible for supporting the design, development, optimization, and governance of enterprise and district Quickbase applications to support operational excellence, reporting visibility, and scalable business processes. This individual will work cross-functionally with business leaders to translate operational needs into structured, scalable, and sustainable Quickbase solutions while establishing platform standards, governance, and long-term architecture. Essential Functions
- Platform Ownership & Governance
- Serve as the corporate account admin of the Quickbase platform
- Expand and maintain platform architecture standards and best practices
- Establish additional and monitor existing governance policies, security models, and data integrity standards
- Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls
- Ensure system scalability, performance, and sustainability
- Application Development & Optimization
- Design, build, and enhance Quickbase applications aligned with business needs
- Optimize workflows, automations, and reporting structures
- Build dashboards and executive-level reporting visibility
- Maintain documentation of architecture and process flows
- Audit and refactor legacy apps for improved performance and structure
- Business Partnership
- Translate business requirements into technical design
- Assist with solution discovery sessions and provide recommendations
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual processes
- Integration & Technical Strategy
- Design and manage integrations between Quickbase and other systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.)
- Oversee API connections and automation pipelines
- Recommend scalable data structures and relational models
- Evaluate and support third-party tools and extensions
- Training & Enablement
- Develop training materials and documentation
- Support super users and department app builders
- Promote adoption and best practices
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting
- Regular and predictable attendance

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building and managing Quickbase applications
- Certification in Quickbase - Preferred
Preferred Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or IT business-related discipline; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong understanding of relational database design
- Strong analytical and process design skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Ability to work with APIs, integrations, and automation
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in establishing governance in a multi-department environment
- Advanced proficiency in platform migrations or consolidations
- Strong knowledge and ability to work with Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $90,000/130,000year
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
