Summary of role
Reporting to Sr. Director of HR Technology and Solutions, the Senior HR Technology Specialist provides advanced functional and technical support for the organization's HR Technology platform. This role focuses on system configuration, optimization, and day-to-day support, partnering closely with HR, Payroll, and IT to ensure the system is reliable, user-friendly, and align with business needs.

This position is based in Massachusetts and requires a presence on-site, minimum 3 days per week, and open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

Key Responsibilities



  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the different HR platforms and modules (e.g. Core HR, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Recruiting, Performance, Benefits, etc...)
  • Configure and maintain business processes, workflows, security roles, and data structures
  • Support system changes, enhancements, and implementation


Reporting and Data



  • Build and maintain standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards
  • Support data audits, reconciliations, and ongoing data quality checks
  • Assist HR teams with reporting needs and analytics


Testing & Release Management



  • Lead system release reviews, testing, and validation
  • Support user acceptance testing and regression testing for system updates
  • Document configuration and testing outcomes


Process Support & User Enablement



  • Support HR process improvements through effective use of the system functionality
  • Create and maintain system documentation, job aids, and FAQs
  • Provide guidance and training to HR and business users as needed
  • User access requests and security changes
  • Participate in HR technology projects such as module enhancements, integrations, or process changes
  • Work closely with other functional leaders including IT and Finance on integrations and data flows


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business or equivalent experience
  • 5-7+ of HR technology experience, with strong hands-on experience
  • Practical experience supporting HR and Payroll processes
  • Practical experience in data integration and data flow to other systems
  • Experience with configuration, reporting and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of HR data, security and compliance requirements
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong track record of partnering across departments and functions to drive shared outcomes.
  • This role is site based minimum 3 days per week

The pay range for this position is between $111,000 and $185,000 annually.

Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Employees in this position are eligible for a discretionary performance-based cash incentive, and depending on the level of the role may be eligible for a discretionary annual equity award. Benefits for this position include a comprehensive health benefits package that includes medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage. Other offerings include life and disability benefits, pre-tax accounts, a 401(k) with company contribution, and a variety of other benefits.
