  • Lead a diverse, geographically distributed team of COR Managers, COR Representatives, and Cabin Systems Specialists to guide new operators through facility, operational, and organizational readiness, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operations from day one.
  • Evaluate customer support infrastructure and advise operators on required GSE, tooling, spare parts, procedures, and operational gaps.
  • Demonstrate strong criticalthinking and problemsolving skills to protect all aspects of the newcustomer experience.
  • Build and maintain closedloop feedback systems that convert realworld operational insights into improvements across Production, Completions, Engineering, Service, Programs, and Training.
  • Oversee technical onboarding, ensuring teams deliver effective airframe, avionics, engine, and cabinsystems familiarization during entry into service.
  • Manage technical representatives and specialists who support operators through the transition from delivery to initial flight operations.
  • Design and lead customereducation programs that increase operator proficiency with available Customer Support network, services, digital tools, support pathways, and network resources.
  • Coordinate crossfunctionally across Technical Operations, Field Support, COR teams, Cabin Specialists, and FlightOperations SMEs to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Oversee Memorandum of Delivery (MOD) tracking and resolution, ensuring timely closure of delivery items and rapid response to earlyservice issues.
  • Collaborate with adjacent business partners to strengthen and continuously improve the MOD process.
  • Advocate for customers, ensuring escalations, risks, and emerging concerns are communicated clearly to internal leadership.
  • Develop, monitor, and report programlevel and teamlevel performance metrics to drive transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Transform operational and performance data into actionable insights that support leadership decisionmaking and servicereadiness planning.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Aeronautical Engineering or Aviation Management preferably required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 15+ years corporate aviation experience preferably in Customer Support, to include 5 years project engineering or program management experience. 5 years supervisory experience. Position Purpose: The Customer Operational Readiness (COR) Senior Manager provides guidance and leadership of the COR team. Ensures COR team has the tools and skills to serve as a single point of contact between Gulfstream Product Support and its customers for all issues during the period between the signing of the new aircraft sales agreement and the delivery of the new aircraft into service. Ensures the COR team provides training, guidance, and assistance related to all areas of Gulfstream Product Support. A successful customer operational readiness is the goal for both new and pre-owned aircraft operators.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:
  1. Provide leadership and guidance for COR managers.
  2. Assure COR team is adequately trained and prepared to perform assigned duties.
  3. Establish training requirements that are outside of the normal company required. training.
  4. Identify special aircraft assignments for COR Managers, COR Specialists and Cabin System Specialists (CSS) .
  5. Provide support and leadership for the multi-functional, multi-site Completions Product Improvement Authorization (CPIA) Team and the Completions Change Management Team (CCMT).
  6. Develop innovative and efficient means of facilitating the COR team responsibilities to include efficient, effective and timely reporting of the status of each aircraft project.
  7. Establish departmental policies and procedures to improve organization and increase efficiency.
  8. Identify deficiencies in COR team performance and establish corrective actions.
  9. Create new and improved methods and procedures for improving the customer's preparedness and operational readiness.
  10. Provide support for the Completions Up-Front and engineering teams.
Additional Functions:
  1. Educate others by promoting the COR team's roles and responsibilities. .
  2. Improve the interaction between the COR team and other departments by working with the leadership of these groups to establish ways to improve communication. .
Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements:
  1. FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics License preferred.
  2. A broad overall knowledge of aircraft systems is required. with emphasis on Gulfstream model aircraft.
  3. Knowledge of applicable FAA regulations and familiarity with foreign certification requirements.
  4. Knowledge of Gulfstream manufacturing and Completion policies and procedures.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Must be willing to support customer needs and issues during and after normal working hours.
  7. Must be willing and able to travel as required.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
