As the Sr. Administrative Coordinator, you'll:



  • Provide support for and coordinate departmental projects.
  • Facilitate information exchange between the Johns Hopkins Health System, School of Medicine and other departments, vendors, or outside agencies.
  • Perform administrative duties such as composing and editing complex correspondence and reports.
  • Develop office procedures to ensure efficient and timely operations and provide advice/guidance to other administrative/clerical staff.


  • Perform a broad variety of intermediate level clerical and administrative tasks as directed and required for the support of the office or individual.
  • Prepare office documents and memoranda, which may include higher-level technical, statistical, and narrative reports; distribute copies of documents as directed.
  • Prepare formal business communication, recurring reports, and similar correspondence; acquire signatures as necessary
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and conferences for assigned staff; take notes, minutes, or other documentation as directed
  • Maintain the calendar for the assigned department or individual
  • Maintain and organize files and records


What you'll bring:



  • High school diploma
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite


Salary Range: Minimum 22.33/hour - Maximum 36.86/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
