STS Line Maintenance is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Technicians in Rochester, New York.

Position Summary
STS Line Maintenance is looking for highly motivated Aircraft Maintenance Professionals to help grow our line maintenance station in Rochester, New York. The A&P Aviation Maintenance Technician supports the daily needs of maintenance operations while delivering a high level of service to our customers.
STS Line Maintenance is one of the largest line maintenance support providers in the United States. We are known for delivering consistent, reliable aircraft maintenance through a rapid-response, nationwide network. Pay rates for this position range from $32 to $42 per hour based on experience.
Position Responsibilities
- This position reports directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads
- Work in close partnership with field airlines, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers
- Ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, and company policies
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment
- Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity in all work performed
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on test results while following maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
- Use precision instruments to measure parts for wear and determine repair or replacement requirements
- Perform additional duties as required
- Work outdoors and in various weather conditions as needed
- Perform maintenance on Commercial and Large Regional aircraft
Qualifications
- Must hold a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification with no history of infractions
- Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft is preferred
- Experience on Commercial and Large Regional aircraft is strongly preferred but not required
- Must own a standard set of line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tooling provided)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Must be able to stand, climb ladders and stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Must pass background checks, drug and alcohol testing, and obtain Customs and Border Protection clearance
- Basic to mid-level computer and organizational skills required
- Experience working under an FAA-approved Part 145 repair station or Part 135 environment preferred
- Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical specifications
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Strong communication skills and commitment to quality and customer service
- Open to candidates ranging from entry level to experienced professionals

Rate of Pay
- Pay ranges from $32 to $42 per hour based on experience
- Bonuses available based on experience and qualifications
- Annual raises available based on performance
