Reporting to the Pharmacy supervisor and Pharmacy Research Manager, you will perform various technician functions pertaining to investigational drugs and clinical research. Some of these functions include:

• Conduct protocol-related duties including: drug receipt, storage, dispensation, study monitoring and accountability
• Perform medication dispensing activities to deliver outstanding patient care
• Support the Pharmacy Supervisor in ensuring compliance to rules, policies and regulations
• Cultivate and model professional, collaborative relationship with pharmacy staff, medical professionals, support, and administrative staff
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving and organizational skills
• Adapt to the challenges of a rapidly changing health care environment
• Advance a patient-centric focus to treat illness with integrity, innovation, and commitment

We're seeking a strong pharmacy technician with:

• CA Pharmacy technician license - required
• Ability to compound chemotherapy utilizing departmental guidelines for the preparation/distribution of cytotoxic agents- required
• At least 1 year of IV sterile compounding pharmacy experience- required
• Ability to accurately perform pharmaceutical calculations.
• Ability to work independently and follow-through on assignments with minimal supervision.
• Skill in computer order entry.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and push 50 lbs.
