Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Director (Confidential) for University Academic Affairs. This position reports to the Senior Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Provides overall administrative management and supervision of the daily operations and performance for the Office of Enrollment Management and Student Success, supporting the SVP in advancing institutional priorities.
- Manages a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the effectual functioning of the office, including assisting the SVP with high level, confidential responsibilities related to enrollment management, student success, strategic planning, reporting& data analysis.
- Coordinates cross-functional enrollment management initiatives, managing timelines, deliverables, and documentation to ensure alignment with university-wide goals.
- Extracts, cleans, and synthesizes data from multiple university and external systems (e.g., Excel, Tableau, HelioCampus, Lightcast) to develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that inform executive decision-making.
- Conducts preliminary analysis and benchmarking to support enrollment management planning and executive presentations. Prepare executive-level reports and briefing materials for senior leadership.
- Serves as an ex-officio member of the Strategic Enrollment Management Council, which is comprised of Cabinet and Executive Level officers of the University.
- Provides confidential support for the Council's activities, including research, event management, and drafting of reports.
- Manages high-level executive operations for the SVP, including prioritization of communications, complex scheduling, and coordination of meetings, projects, and external partnerships.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree and working knowledge of administration, work organization, project management, communications, and/or report writing principles and practices.
- Five years of related experience working for senior level administrators with demonstrated executive level organizational and decision-making skills.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
