As an Associate Inside Sales and Customs Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring seamless customs clearance processes for international transactions involving live animals and frozen or ambient specimens. This position requires a blend of sales acumen, expertise in customs regulations, responsibility for animal welfare for up to 12 days in transit, and development of processes to protect frozen shipments for up to 3 weeks in transit. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the sales process, addressing customer inquiries, and navigating the complexities of customs compliance for biological products. This role offers a dynamic blend of sales support and customs compliance, making it ideal for individuals with a keen interest in international trade and a customer-centric approach. The salary range is $60,618 - $87,896. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience. The candidate hired into this role will have the ability to work remotely but will be required to work onsite 15% of their time at our Ellsworth and/or Bar Harbor location.
