Department Overview The Regional Service Model aligns local external stakeholders with cross-functional internal teams to address issues and improve outcomes for PG&E customers. To meet customer and regulatory commitments, PG&E continues to strengthen its local presence and functional capabilities, supporting consistent delivery for the communities we serve. We are running the business regionally and providing more efficient results for our customers who deserve a hometown utility that shows up for them every day. Position Summary PG&E is seeking a Summer Intern to support primarily External Communications efforts within the Regional Service Model for Region 2 (North Valley/Sierra). This role will focus on storytelling, social media engagement, and videography to highlight the impactful work happening across the region. In addition to supporting external efforts, the Summer Intern may also be asked to assist with internal efforts such as Monthly Operating Reviews, Leadership Town Halls, Executive Hometown Visits, and Go-Sees. The Summer Intern will collaborate with regional leadership, operations teams, and others to develop engaging digital content that informs customers, supports community outreach, and showcases PG&E's commitment to safety, reliability, and community partnership. This is a hands-on opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented communicator who is passionate about visual storytelling and digital engagement. Travel may be required; frequency depends on the assignment and is typically less than 30%. PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.22 to $34.07 Responsibilities Supporting senior staff with:
The successful intern will have the opportunity to learn about these activities as described above working with a team of experienced leaders and problem solvers.
