In this exciting and rewarding position, you will deliver exceptional, specialized Wound Care nursing to patients across various units. You will offer clinical expertise and guidance to nursing staff by supervising wound assessment protocols, treatment interventions, and care plan implementation. You will assess the educational needs of patients, families, and staff related to wound prevention and management, deliver evidence-based clinical education, and promote collaborative, healing-focused relationships.

This role involves partnering with an interdisciplinary team of wound care specialists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive wound treatment plans. You will provide detailed wound care protocols, monitor healing progress, and ensure optimal patient outcomes through advanced wound assessment and therapeutic interventions.

Salary Range: $65.76 - $97.76 hourly

Qualifications

We're seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:

  • Current California RN license required
  • BSN or MSN required
  • BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
  • 2 years of wound care RN experience required
  • Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWC) or wound specialty certification, preferred
  • Wounds, Ostomy, and Continence certification highly preferred or should be achieved within 1 year after hire date
  • Expertise in implementing evidence-based wound care interventions and treatment protocols on a consistent basis
  • Ability to perform comprehensive wound assessments, including wound staging, measurement, and documentation
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized wound care plans actively involving patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
  • Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
