Temporary Parts Cataloging & Data Collection Specialist
Scope: * Visit designated warehouse locations in the SF Bay Area to physically inspect and document parts. * Take clear, consistent photographs of parts and related packaging or labels. * Organize photos and documentation in a structured Google Drive folder system. * Catalog parts with accurate identifiers and descriptions. * Assist in classifying parts and supporting valuation efforts. * Gather and verify country of origin information from suppliers and available documentation. * Collect and document additional part details (material composition, functional description and intended use, supplier or manufacturer information). * Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to fill data gaps. * Maintain accurate, organized records throughout the project. Required: * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Comfortable working in warehouse environments. * Ability to take high-quality, consistent photos using a camera or smartphone. * Proficient with Google Drive and basic data organization tools such as Sheets and Docs. * Strong written communication skills for documenting technical information. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Pluses: * Experience with inventory management, parts cataloging, or logistics. * Familiarity with supply chain, manufacturing, or hardware programs. * Experience gathering country-of-origin or material compliance data. * Comfortable interacting with suppliers or warehouse personnel.
