Position Title: Shop Utility Worker
Wage: $23.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 07:00 am - 03:30 pm We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as a Machine Operator. In this role, you will operate a variety of machines used in the manufacturing of hangar doors. The selected candidate will receive training to become proficient on multiple machines and will also serve as a backup to other machine operators as needed. Apply now! Shop Utility Worker Responsibilities: - Operate machinery used in the production of hangar doors, including but not limited to CNC machines, drill press brakes, beam line machines, lays machines, milling machines, and plasma cutting machines - Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as required for material handling - Perform light gauge MIG welding when necessary - Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings - Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment - Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet company quality standards - Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and production efficiency - Maintain accurate records of production activities and material usage - Assist with additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management Requirements for Shop Utility Worker: - High School Diploma or equivalent required - Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation required - Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new machinery and processes - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work - Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
