Security Officer - Access Control Second Shift

As a Security Officer - Main Gate Monitor in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, support visitor and badge processes, and document security-related activity. You will maintain a visible presence, perform routine patrols, and communicate clearly with employees, guests, and site leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in and/or deliveries, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining accurate access logs.
• Monitor entry and exit points, alarms, and security-related systems, and report irregular activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per post orders and completing required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, with working conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
